Dr. Levy is Regional Medical Manager for Chevron with responsibilities across the Asia Pacific Region. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine. Dr. Levy currently serves as a member of the Internal Affairs Work Group for ACOEM and has served in a variety of capacities for both WOEMA and ACOEM including Chair of Membership Committees of both WOEMA and ACOEM, Chair of Legislative Committee for WOEMA, Chair of the WOEMA delegation to the ACOEM House of Delegates amongst other positions. He was recently elected as Recorder for the ACOEM House of Delegates.

Robert C. Blink MD, MPH, FACOEM

Dr. Blink serves as medical director/ consulting physician to nationwide employers, a large case management and provider network, hospitals, and joint labor-management health and retirement programs; staffs and supervises workplace on-site clinics; provides OEM litigation support; and conducts educational outreach to employer, labor and community groups. Dr. Blink is Co-Chair of the WOEMA Legislative Affairs Committee and is part of the WOHC Planning Committee.

Sachin Kapoor DO, MBA, MPH, FACOEM

Dr. Kapoor completed his training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Harvard University, and earned his Masters in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Prior to that he completed Internal Medicine training at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. He attended medical school in New York where he simultaneously earned his Masters in Business Administration in Management. He is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He has the privilege of practicing at Kaiser Permanente where serves as the Chief of Occupational Medicine as well as the Chair of the Northern California Occupational Medicine Chiefs. Outside of his Occupational Medicine roles, he also serves as the Chief of Professional Education where he oversees the CME departments at two hospitals.

Dr. Bernyce Peplowski has been practicing OEM for 35 years. She has a diverse career, spanning on site 24 hour care/prevention model with large employer, 2 large multi-specialty medical groups and 2 payors. She is currently providing consulting services for medical groups and insurers, with emphasis on bundled pay and integrated occupational and non-occupational services, linked to outcomes. Her academic and educational affiliations include: Associate Clinical Professor in Preventive Medicine at Loma Linda University; Chair of WOHC 2013 and 2017; Masters in Health Professions Education (adult medical education). Her special interests include the integration of WC and HealthPlan, to include risk shared bundled payment based upon outcomes. Dr. Bernyce Peplowski chairs the WC Committee for the California Medical Association and sits on the Executive Board of WOEMA.  She participated in ACOEM Guides development from inception.

Dr. Won is President and CEO of Newport Brain Research Laboratory. He is Board Certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and completed his residency at the Harvard Occupational and Environmental Medicine residency program. He received his MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health and MBA from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. He previously served as a US Navy Flight Surgeon, and as Chief Regional Physician and Chief Technology Officer (Health Services) for the Boeing Company. Dr. Won has served as WOEMA Education Committee Chair, has been a member of WOHC Planning Committees and currently serves as WOEMA Director.

Troy Ross, MD, MPH

Dr. Ross serves as an Occupational Medicine physician for ARC Health and Wellness in Sparks, NV. He is Board Certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. After training in the Army and earning his MPH from the University of Washington he served in varied positions such as chief of Preventive Medicine at an Army medical center, Division Preventive Medicine Officer deployed in Iraq, brigade flight surgeon, and state flight surgeon for NV Army National Guard. He retired from the Army in October of 2016 and has continued his career in OEM and Preventive Medicine in his hometown of Reno, NV.  

Heidi K. Roeber, MD, MPH

Dr. Heidi is the Medical Director for Honeywell Aerospace Americas.  She is Board Certified in both Preventive and Occupational Medicine, completing her residency and MPH at University of Minnesota/HealthPartners and her fellowship in Preventive Medicine/Public Health at Mayo Clinic. Her interests include global health, education and employee well-being.

Dr. Krasner currently runs Krasner Medical Consultants, performing IME’s, impairment evaluations, disability exams, occupational medicine consultations, continues clinical work in occupational medicine, as well as volunteering as the team physician for one of the local high schools.  His interests include skiing, traveling and plumbing. He has maintained his teaching position at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, and has been a Breath Alcohol Technician Instructor and Certified Medical Review Officer since the drug testing programs were established.

Dr. Matthew Chan is currently the medical director of Glendale Adventist Occupational Medicine Center.  He is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine and Occupational Medicine Residency Program.  Although his professional pursuits keep him quite busy, he expends the vast majority of his energy trying (but not always succeeding) to keep up with his three very high-energy amazing children.

Steven Feinberg, MD, MPH

Dr. Steven Feinberg is a physiatrist and pain medicine specialist practicing in Palo Alto. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor and teaches at the Stanford University Pain Service. Dr. Feinberg is a past president (1996) of the American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM). He served as a California Society of Medicine & Surgery (CSIMS) Year 2001 President. He serves as the lead author for the American Chronic Pain Association 2017 ACPA Resource Guide to Chronic Pain Treatment. Dr. Feinberg served as Associate Editor on the ACOEM Chronic Pain Guidelines Panel Chapter 2008 Update and as the Panel Chair for the 2017 update. He served as a Medical Reviewer for the ACOEM 2014 Opioid Guidelines.

His is board certification in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and obtained a Master of Public Health degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Rupali Das is Senior Vice President and California Medical Director at the Zenith Insurance Company, where she provides guidance to deliver appropriate medical care to workers while also balancing business needs. Dr. Das served as the Executive Medical Director of the California Division of Workers’ Compensation for over four years and oversaw all functions of the DWC Medical Unit to ensure appropriate and cost-effective medical care for the state’s ill and injured workers. This included improving the physician fee schedule and processes for QMEs, Utilization Review, and Independent Medical Review, as well as developing evidence based treatment guidelines. She has lectured widely and held various leadership roles in occupational and environmental Health at the California Department of Public Health. Prior to joining public service, she was in clinical practice in Occupational Medicine at the Palo Alto Medical Clinic. She received her MD degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and her Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Das completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago and a fellowship in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at UC San Francisco. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine/Occupational Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. She is Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF’s Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and continues to lecture and mentor residents and students. Her professional interests include prevention of illness and injury and health promotion to optimize productivity. In her free time
she loves to garden and enjoys outdoor adventures with her family.

Sheri Belafsky, MD, MSSbelafsky

Dr. Belafsky is the Associate Director of the Medical Surveillance Program in the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health, Department of Public Health Sciences, UC Davis School of Medicine.  She is board certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and completed her residency at UC Irvine.  Dr. Belafsky is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine.
