WOEMA Legislative Priorities
1) Advocate with allies for replacement of the Official Medical Fee Schedule with RBRVS-based system with a single, non-Medicare conversion factor.
2) Provide input on California treatment-guideline regulations that focuses on clinical and implementation issues. Support adoption of relevant ACOEM chapters.
3) Expand WOEMA’s area of policy interest to include public health issues.
4) Continue to build a nexus of information to flow between Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah.
5) Develop key policies on Occupational Medicine patient care and marketplace issues,
6) Work with other physician organizations and allies on areas of shared concern.
