On behalf of the WOEMA Board of Directors and the Western Occupational Health Conference (WOHC) planning committee, we welcome you to the 66th annual WOHC, at the world-famous Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA!

This year's conference theme, "Experience the Magic of Occupational and Environmental Medicine" highlights our beloved specialty's position at the intersection of medicine and communities and workplaces, around topics of clinical, public health, toxicology, justice equity diversity and inclusion (JEDI), and advocacy importance.  A conference at the home of Disney Magic; Occupational and Environmental Medicine is Magical when we learn from each other and apply this knowledge in service to worker health and promotion of safe workplaces.

For those WOEMA members attending in-person, we will be offering “Enduring Materials”; video recordings of all main conference sessions – that can be streamed for viewing up to one year after the conference.  Think of it as “On-Demand” WOHC-Style.  For physicians, CME credits can also be obtained for repeat viewing of sessions up till January 31st, 2024, allowing you to claim 2 credits per session! (1 unit in-person + 1 unit on repeat viewing).  For those unable to attend the conference in-person, Enduring Materials provide your remote access to conference content for up to one year. For nursing attendees access to enduring materials will allow those that were unable to attend, missed a session, attended a concurrent session to review the recorded session and materials. This will allow you, when claiming CME credit, to include those sessions that you attended virtually along with any attended in person.

The WOHC planning committee, led by Chair Dr. David Caretto and Vice-chair Dr. Sonya Meyers, has planned a diverse and innovative program with plenty of opportunities to interact and network. The broad range of offerings, with many notable speakers, are sure to appeal to a wide variety of interests no matter what the area of focus in OEM.

We look forward to greeting you in person at WOHC 23 where you will "Experience the Magic of Occupational and Environmental Medicine."
