Bernyce Peplowski, DO, MS, FACOEM
Chairman of the Board
Dr. Bernyce Peplowski has been practicing OEM and preventive medicine for 35 years. Her journeys have been diverse, ranging from an employer on-site 24 hour care model, two large multi-specialty medical groups, and two payers. She currently provides services to medical groups, insurers, and private equity firms regarding regarding bundles pay integrated services and creating sustainable health lifestyle environments. Her academic and educational affiliations include: Associate Clinical Professor at the Department of Preventive Medicine at Loma Lina University, and a masters in Health Professions Education. She has chaired the Western Occupational Health Conference (WOHC) twice, in 2013 and 2017. She is currently part of WOEMA’s Legislative Affairs Committee, the Hawaii Medical Association, and has been an active member of the AMA and her local county medical associations sine 1982. She encourages members of the WOEMA family to join her as representatives of the hub of health care and as champions of clinicians and healthy lifestyles.
Erik J. Won, DO, MPH, MBA, FACOEM

Dr. Won is President and CEO of Newport Brain Research Laboratory. He is Board Certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and completed his residency at the Harvard Occupational and Environmental Medicine residency program. He received his MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health and MBA from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. He previously served as a US Navy Flight Surgeon, and as Chief Regional Physician and Chief Technology Officer (Health Services) for the Boeing Company. Dr. Won has served as WOEMA Education Committee Chair, has been a member of WOHC Planning Committees and currently serves as a WOEMA Director.
Scott Krasner, MD, MPH, FACOEMPresident-Elect

Dr. Krasner currently runs Krasner Medical Consultants, performing IMEs, impairment evaluations, disability exams, and occupational medicine consultations, continues clinical work in occupational medicine, as well as volunteering as the team physician for one of the local high schools. His interests include skiing, traveling and plumbing. He has maintained his teaching position at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, and has been a Breath Alcohol Technician Instructor and Certified Medical Review Officer since the drug testing programs were established.
Rupali Das, MD, MPH, FACOEM

Dr. Rupali Das is Senior Vice President and Medical Director at Zenith Insurance Company, where she provides guidance and innovative ideas to deliver the best medical care to workers while also balancing business needs. Dr. Das served as the Executive Medical Director of the California Division of Workers’ Compensation from 2012 to 2016. She is Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the UCSF Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. She has held various leadership positions in Occupational and Environmental Health at the California Department of Public Health and California EPA. Prior to joining public service, she was in clinical practice in Occupational Medicine at the Palo Alto Medical Clinic. Dr. Das has served as WOEMA Education Committee Chair, Legislative Committee Co-Chair, WOHC 2012 Chair, and on the Board of Directors. She received her MD degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and her Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago and a fellowship in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at UC San Francisco. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine/Occupational Medicine. Her professional interests include illness and injury prevention and health promotion to optimize productivity and wellness at work and in life.

Dr. Terrazas currently serves as the Department Physician for the San Francisco Fire Department. He is board certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and obtained a Master of Public Health degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania.
ARC Health and Wellness
Dr. Ross serves as an Occupational Medicine physician for ARC Health and Wellness in Sparks, NV. He is Board Certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. After training in the Army and earning his MPH from the University of Washington, he served in varied positions such as chief of Preventive Medicine at an Army medical center, Division Preventive Medicine Officer deployed in Iraq, brigade flight surgeon, and state flight surgeon for NV Army National Guard. He retired from the Army in October of 2016 and has continued his career in OEM and Preventive Medicine in his hometown of Reno, NV.
Dr. Roeber is the Medical Director for Honeywell Aerospace Americas. She is Board Certified in both Preventive and Occupational Medicine, completing her residency and MPH at University of Minnesota/HealthPartners and her fellowship in Preventive Medicine/Public Health at Mayo Clinic. Her interests include global health, education and employee well-being.
Rosalie Banasiak, MD
Dr. Banasiak is embarking on a new and exciting chapter in her WOEMA membership of 20+ years. Having already enjoyed three years on the planning committee, she has now joined the WOEMA Board. For the past thirty years her practice has been in Occupational Medicine. Like many others, Dr. Banasiak began life elsewhere having completed Family Practice Residency at Scottsdale Family Practice in Arizona. Shortly after Board Certifying in FP, there came an invitation to join a private practice Occupational Medical clinic in Phoenix. Dr. Banasiak fell hook, line, and sinker and never looked back! Her current position is Center Medical Director for Concentra Metro in Phoenix. Certifications have included: AME/ATC examiner x 25 years, CPS-A, MRO, and Occupational Medicine boarded.
Amanpreet Dhillon, MD, MS, FACOEM
Dr. Dhillon completed his training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Tyler, Texas and his Masters in Environmental Sciences from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. Prior to that he completed Family Medicine training at Carilion Health System in Roanoke, Virginia. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He joined The Permanente Medical Group in 2010 and practices clinical occupational medicine full time. Before that, Dr. Dhillon served on the faculty as an Assistant Professor in Occupational Medicine Residency Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. He is still involved in precepting Family Medicine residents from local residency programs in Occupational Medicine and is active in local medical societies.

Dr. Steven Feinberg is a physiatrist and pain medicine specialist practicing in Palo Alto. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor and teaches at the Stanford University Pain Service. Dr. Feinberg is a past president (1996) of the American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM). He served as a California Society of Medicine & Surgery (CSIMS) Year 2001 President. He serves as the lead author for the American Chronic Pain Association 2017 ACPA Resource Guide to Chronic Pain Treatment. Dr. Feinberg served as Associate Editor on the ACOEM Chronic Pain Guidelines Panel Chapter 2008 Update and as the Panel Chair for the 2017 update. He served as a Medical Reviewer for the ACOEM 2014 Opioid Guidelines. He served as a Reviewer for the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 6th Edition. He is on the AMA Guides Newsletter Advisory Board. Dr. Feinberg is an Expert Reviewer for the Medical Board of California. He is the ACOEM representative to the AMA Pain Care Task Force.
Matthew Hughes, MD, MPH

Dr. Matthew Hughes is Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Utah. He has performed many professional roles in Occupational Medicine, with service in clinical, corporate, governmental, and academic positions. He has served over 20 years in corporate medical officer positions, executive management, and consulting roles providing support and strategic direction to major international corporations. Currently, his primary research interests include evidence-based analysis and development of management practices for the advancement of occupational health and safety of workers, toxicology, opioids and musculoskeletal medicine. He serves as Assistant Editor in Chief and as a researcher and author of the ACOEM Evidence Based Practice Guidelines. He enjoys teaching occupational medicine residents, industrial hygiene students, and collaborating with other faculty and colleagues. He is course director for Administrative Management of Occupational Health and Safety Programs.
