In January 2016, the Institute of Medical Quality (IMQ), a subsidiary of the California Medical Association (CMA), awarded WOEMA accreditation in Continuing Medical Education (CME). WOEMA fulfilled the requirements of accreditation and is an approved provider of CME Programs through December 31, 2019. The accreditation was presented by Stephen Larson, MD, President, California Medical Association and KM Tan, MD, Chair, Committee on Continuing Medical Education. The IMQ accredits California-based hospitals, ambulatory care clinics, specialty societies, health plans, and other health care organizations on a voluntary basis to offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM.
WOEMA is responsible for ensuring that all CME activities it offers are conducted in accordance with all ACCME guidelines and policies.
